I have practiced civil appellate law since graduation from law school in 1995. In my first job out of law school I served as a briefing attorney for Justice Paul Green on the San Antonio Court of Appeals. While still in school I interned for Justice Lloyd Doggett at the Supreme Court of Texas, Judge Emilio M. Garza at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Leif M. Clark at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas in San Antonio.
Practicing law is my second career. My twenty-plus years in the business world prior to entering law school gives me a level of experience, maturity and real-world insight to bring to bear on the prosecution/defense of your case. I am licensed in the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and in the United States District Courts for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas and all Texas courts.
I have been married to Mary Ann for 19 years. We have four beautiful daughters, eight grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild in our blended family.
